Capstone's employees make our company work. Our management is dedicated to making Capstone Underwriters, LLC the very best Managing General Agency possible. Our Underwriters are all experienced, licensed professionals whose mission is to work closely with their assigned group of agents, and to tailor each policy to the exact requirements of the insured. Our support staff helps them to accomplish this mission.
Executive Management
A lawyer by training, Alain moved from Paris, France, in 1974 to establish the American subsidiary of the largest French reinsurance company SCOR. Scor Re, located in Dallas, TX, was moved to New York in 1983, and Alain resigned to remain in Dallas. After several years of consulting with insurance and reinsurance start-ups, he incorporated Capstone Underwriters, Inc. in 1991.
A native Texan, Cynthia spent seven years in the education arena, then began work at Scor Re as the HR director and office operations manager. Alain and Cynthia married in 1977, and Cynthia left Scor Re to work in real estate and art sales until she and Alain created Capstone Underwriters in 1991.
